Gina Luna

Gina Luna is a veteran board member, investor, and civic leader who is recognized for her invaluable business insight. She is a Founding Partner of GP Capital Partners, LP, a private credit/equity fund focused on lower middle-market companies, and is a member of the Management and Investment Committees. In 2016, she founded Luna Strategies to advise companies and their leaders on complex strategic issues and growth initiatives. Prior to founding Luna Strategies, she held senior executive roles with JPMorgan Chase, including Chairman of the Houston Market and Managing Director of Chase Commercial Banking. Mrs. Luna ran a $150+M revenue business, managed sizable teams, led marketing and communications, talent development, risk management, and strategic planning.

Mrs. Luna sits on the board of two public companies, Roku, Inc. (NASDAQ:  ROKU), where she serves on the Audit Committee, and Tetra Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:  TTI), where she serves on the Audit and the Nominating, Governance, and Sustainability Committees. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Complete Intelligence, a privately held, globally integrated forecasting platform powered by AI. She is the founding Chairman of the Board for Houston Exponential (HX), an organization focused on building the city’s innovation ecosystem, and is a Senior Advisor to the HX Venture Fund. Mrs. Luna is a member of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch, and is the Chairman of the Board of St. Luke’s Health System. She also serves as a trustee of The Texas A&M Foundation, The Welch Foundation, The Welch Institute, and Baylor College of Medicine. She was elected Chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) in 2015 and served as Chair of the nationally acclaimed workforce initiative, UpSkill Houston, from 2013 to 2017.  She continues her service on the GHP board, Executive and Nominating Committees. Mrs. Luna is a summa cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance and management.
